I used Cha-Ching a lot when it first came out. It was pretty and it
got a lot of attention. Unfortunately they did some really strange
things. The app is older than MoneyWell yet it is a lower version and
a bunch of other apps by madebysofa have stagnated, both of which lead
me to think Cha-Ching is going in this direction as well. They teased
about a new version for a really long time, people started getting
upset in the user forums, and then midnight apps removed the forums
(apparently they added them back). Seems like Cha-Ching had a lot of
potential but the stagnation eventually made me search for other apps.
I had moved from iBank2 which felt too much like Quicken. After Cha-
Ching I found MoneyWell. I'm continually amazed at how quick Kevin is
to reply on this list, the beta list and Twitter, all while making
great progress on the application.

In short, don't forget to include support responses and application
updates when evaluating various products.
