ok, I think i found my own answer to the question above. I just put the balance as of my last downloaded transaction, and then that date as well.
The problem is that when I enter all the information and hit "continue", the dialog disappears and nothing happens. In the "Account detail" pane, under "connect" it only says "<none selected>" and my bank doesn't appear. What am I doing wrong? I was never asked to enter my username and password.
