For me, I just ignore the features I don't use. For example, early on
in the 1.4 beta cycle, it became apparent to me very quickly my bank
didn't support OFX downloads, so I knew I wouldn't be using the killer
new feature of 1.4. It doesn't hurt me and I don't think about it.

I agree, MoneyWell is not for the financially obsessive, but I've
found it's made be obsessive about my budget, or at least keeps me
mindful of what I've really got left to spend on things ( such as
eating out ) when before I just said "Oh, what the hell, I'll eat out"
not knowing what other budget item I was harming.

Again, I don't use the cash feature and have never felt the pressure
to do so. Even with 1.4, I'm still using MoneyWell like I was in 1.3.
I allocate to my buckets. I use my repeating transactions and I do my
finances about once a week. The smaller bucket icons and clearer
bucket amounts have sped up my process a great deal.

If you don't want to use repeat transactions because they cause you to
waste time, then don't. But scheduled repeating transactions are a
feature I need in any financial/budget/bill tracking app for me.
