Why is it, that when I exported one account in MoneyWell, it exported all of them...every accounts data? LOL
Some slight problems noticed just now....the dates import wrong into PocketMoney because this app probably tries to hold time even based on the second, whereas MoneyWell tracks a basic day, some dates show the year 1969 that were done this year! So there is a slight formatting glitch! These ipod/iphone apps were not made for each other exactly, but I bet the kinks will get worked out, that or MoneyWell Mobile will soon come online. PocketMoney complained a bit when I would click on another account, I often had to click save, but sure enough every transaction I have in MoneyWell moved over to the iPhone/iPod with the same totals and bucket categories, with the wrong dates. Drag and drop a file click sync and it was done. Oh I needed to download the app called PocketMoney from iTunes then I also had to install SyncDocs; http://www.pocketmoney.com/SyncDocs.html Oh and I had to click in 10.4 OS X system preferences -> Sharing the click on the Firewall tab click the lock to make changes click new I had to set my port to 8080 like what syndocs said it needed Titled it SyncDocs in my firewall setting and I was done. Locked my firewall back down and could transfer files without a glitch. Wow! I now have all my transactions on my portable device with PocketMoney, but the dates are wrong. I'm going to try doing some transactions while on the go and see if I can import them into MoneyWell, but at the moment the dates are wrong, so I will use QuickBank to add any new transactions. Oh and by the way, I would make a complete backup of all your MoneyWell files etc. DO NOT re-import data back into MoneyWell as at this moment the dates are wrong. I dont want anyone to lose any data, so make sure you make a backup before playing with this other one. At this point till the dates can be cleared up I wouldnt import anything back into MoneyWell. I'm sure the MoneyWell Mobile app will be even better, but for now I'm a walking bank statement, with the dates wrong. For some reason it shows 1969. LOL So at this point QuickBank doesnt have any date formatting problems that I have seen, but you cant carry around all your transactions. PocketMoney does move over all your transactions but so far the dates will all be screwed up. I guess for now its at least handy to know what you have in the bank while on the go, but I wouldnt add any new transactions into PocketMoney, now would I import anything from it into MoneyWell. QuickBank did import new transactions fine, so it appears I can use PocketMoney to see my transactions on my ipod and use QuickBank to enter a new thing I buy at the store. From there I can use QuickBank to import that item I bought into MoneyWell. But like I said Backing up everything just in case. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "No Thirst Software User Forum" group.
