Pushing the "Starting Balance" files into the future didnt work, putting them further into the past did.
I adjusted all my "Starting Balance" files to 12/12/69 since I dont have anything that goes back that far and that part got fixed. The dates still get wrecked at a point and I figured out why, its because MoneyWell has some Balance transfers that dont have a bucket assigned. the bucket is listed as (transfer) in MoneyWell, so it appears that any item not specifically assigned a bucket will cause the dates to crash. For the Starting Balance files I actually assigned them a bucked called Starting Balance. Once I did that the dates got fixed. I didnt even make a bucket or category in PocketMoney but I found the new category of (Starting Balance) was already made when I restored from the desktop backup MoneyWell file. So its quite possible if all buckets and transactions are assigned properly in MoneyWell, and possibly sorted right date wise, that this ipod/iphone app may be able to move the files over without a glitch. Again make sure you keep your own backup to protect yourself, as wireless transfers are just that, wireless. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "No Thirst Software User Forum" group.
