Seriously, I spent a lot of time going back and forth on this but came  
to the conclusion that unassigned deposits are treated like income but  
a deposit specifically assigned to an expense bucket is an expense,  
just as a reversal (like a return or a rebate). This way, the user has  
the option to have it treated either way.
