I have some credit cards that support transaction download, but there is usually a multi-day delay between the charge and the time it shows up in the download. This delay is also there when I view transactions via their website. I use them because they give me cash back and other goodies. (This happens for both the REI Visa card run by U.S. Bank and Citi Master Card).
In contrast, my credit union displays ATM transactions immediately.
