Hi everyone, there is this new service called Dropbox (www.getdropbox.com) that offers syncing a local folder to their online service. The file should be secure as long as it is not in the public folder ;-) . So if you both join the service and invite each other to see a shared folder where the MoneyWell data file rests, it can be accessed anytime.
MoneyWell shouldnt have a problem with it, since it only accesses the local file on the computer, while Dropbox is permanently uploading any changes to the file and on the other computer immediately downloads any changes to the MoneyWell file there. As long as both apps are not running at the same time, it should work great. Check out the video at the Dropbox site - and it is a free service (unless you want more than 2 GB online space...) The only question remains: Do you trust the service? But then again, could you trust Apples iDisk concerning such data? All I can say about this is: I´d do it, as long there are no other technical hurdles. What do you say, Kevin? :) All the best, Chris --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "No Thirst Software User Forum" group.
