Yeah, I was a bit confused with this at first as well. I just use the monthly boxes at the bottom of spending plan for each bucket. Will allow you to enter specific bucket amounts for each month. It will still avg. stuff out in the spending plan, but when it comes time to allocate it will use your specified amount at the bottom and not the avg.
