Hey all, If you are frustrated that MoneyWell can't directly connect to ING Direct, here are some things you can do to help.
1 - Leave them a message at "getsatisfaction" ING Doesn't actually have official representation at getsatisfaction, but it can't hurt, right? I have started a topic here: http://getsatisfaction.com/ingdirect/topics/ofx_access 2 - Leave them an email. Here is the one I just sent, if you need some inspiration. "I'm frustrated ING doesn't offer an OFX server for financial programs to connect to. I'm well aware that I can download my account information manually, and I've heard that Quicken and Microsoft Money can grab data from ING, but not my financial program of choice. It's the only thing I don't like about ING, but it's a big enough thing that it could potentially cause me to go looking for another bank. I am a techy person, and that is why I joined ING in the first place. Based on the mostly excellent website and overall experience, I have recommended ING to several people. I am also in love with this new Financial app I am using, the one that doesn't work with ING. If you can't offer this, I'll likely switch banks, and my friends -- the ones that followed me to ING, and the ones that will follow me in using this new financial app I love, will probably follow me right on over to a new bank as well. I don't say this as a threat, after all I've only referred 4 or 5 customers really, but I know several other people who use this same financial app and are unhappy with ING locking in Data. They are the same type of people who came to ING for it's excellent website, brought their friends, and will pack up and leave (with their friends) for something better.
