Sorry Dave,

If you can't see the green triangle, then use Edit > Change Cash Flow  
Start Date.

Your total available spending money is easy to figure if you have just  
one account that you use for spending, like a checking account. Your  
spending money would be the bank balance as of the end of day on 2/28  
minus any outstanding checks or payments that haven't cleared.
