> > Hi Lance - Any chance of getting a copy of your script? > I'm not big AppleScript guy, so my script is actually written in Perl and uses a couple non-standard modules. In addition, it requires you to have sqlite installed on your system, Postfix locally configured to send outgoing messages, and it's highly tailored towards my particular usage of MoneyWell (especially my bucket names and arrangements).
For these reasons, it wouldn't be easy for someone else to just take it and use it. This is why I'd like to eventually see some kind of API or AppleScript support in MoneyWell so these kinds of scripts would be more portable. I'd probably take the time to code something in AppleScript if I knew it would survive a few versions of MoneyWell and could be easily used by others. For anyone who's comfortable coding their own scripts and getting their hands dirty with the DB, I'd be happy to share my SQL queries and the general flow of what I did. Maybe someone with better AppleScript skills than myself could put together something more portable to share with others. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "No Thirst Software User Forum" group.
