Coming from Quicken I wanted something similar... I wanted the plus and minus keys to move the date up and down but I soon discovered the quick date feature. Simply typing "6" in the date field and tabbing to the next field will assume a date of current month/6/current year. So if I type "6" I get 04/06/2009. It's hard to get better than one keystroke to get a full date.
If the month I'm entering is different from the current calendar month I type 3.14 and this gives me 03/14/2009. I like this feature and once I knew it was there I no longer craved the plus/minus keys. But more options for entering dates is usually always good. -Craig On Apr 6, 4:56 am, Alan Schmitt <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello, > > I usually enter my transactions in a batch, once a week.
