I have to agree with @Joseph. Its okay to say that something doesn't look legit (maybe because it doesn't sound professional/pricing issues). These finer points could have been discussed over a personal mail to Joseph and not publicly. But dragging it even after clarification from Joseph is worse. I personally feel that it went a bit too far. If he were a scam he wouldn't have come back to defend what he wrote. Period.
