Let me paraphraze you, why should you do it in javascript, when there're C++/C which is much better for computational problems. Sure you can use 3rd party module for making your js code run in multiple threads, but as far as it can be implemented as a external dependency - why should it be placed in node.js core? and there are perfectly safe and clean ways to add threads to node (and I > think that TAGG is one - the "eval" situation can be improved with > modules).
