> These comments are trollish and inappropriate. No, Isaac. I feel pissed on here. Ack that. People hate this topic. You joining them and saying this mere topic gives you hives? That is what makes me feel ignorant, like a child, worse than useless. I sought to be made better in February when I requested some cause for Isolates being dropped, I seek it now: the reply I've gotten is zealotry and bigotry, and my feeling brought low is natural and expected. I really do lament dragging us all down here, but I also hope there are people willing to tell me more than "see for yourself," as implicit in your February refusal to explain for yourself any reason why Isolates was dropped, as shown again explicitly in your turning it again on me that I must for myself investigate Node core and must find out for myself. Mercifully we have seen some exploration, from Ben, from Jorge, now from paddybyers, providing some great explanations. > > The problem is that this shit is decidedly *not fun* for anyone but you > and Jorge and maybe a few others and is a huge annoyance and distraction > for everyone who would like to move forward and have fun talking about > robots and websockets. Your discussion makes this list a place for endless > debates between camps that have no adoption and people having fun playing > devils advocate and not a place for people to talk about real stuff they > are building and problems they have. > > I humbly propose not participating in things which annoy you or you find > overly distracting. > Mikeal was complaining about nothing except people discussing things, about feeling hurt for others talking. He deserves counter-meta-moderation, and there should be no problems with that. I unequivocally renounce any charge of trolling or inappropriateness on this front. I don't wish to be inappropriate: the "threads have no place in node" crew vibrate with their dogmatic belief, and thusfar have not tried to explain their belief, but tried to emotionally exploit those who haven't fallen in to line: that's not leadership, nor civil. Thankfully those interested- striving for the topic- have found some of the faults and problems encountered, and have been willing to share: thank you for the exploration, civil gentlemen, thank you for civil and technical discourse. -- Job Board: http://jobs.nodejs.org/ Posting guidelines: https://github.com/joyent/node/wiki/Mailing-List-Posting-Guidelines You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nodejs" group.
