Dearest Community,

I'd like to ask you all to step up and do your part for a better Node.js
ecosystem. The current maintainer of the Node.js Debian Package has decided
that it's too burdensome and without sufficient merit to update the Debain
Node.js from 0.6.x to 0.8.x. A Debian core committer reached out and asked
for some input on this, so I posted to the bug explaining the waf-to-gyp
change, which was met with a nasty response. I don't think I can be
constructive at this point, so I'm asking for help.
