Here's a few companies using node.js:

Yahoo, PayPal, Ebay, Walmart, LinkedIn, Uber, Microsoft, and the New York 
Times. Many of them don't have small departments using node but big parts of 
the organization using it while other parts migrate to it.

Every one of them has a hard time finding talent.
