Hi Ravi, It seems like it's fairly easy to switch back and forth between communities (are they called communities?). On the Mac app it's just Cmd+1, Cmd+2 to switch between. I don't have a strong opinion about the necessity, but for me personally this is nice because I already use Slack on a daily basis but I've never gotten into IRC. Also, isn't there a way to integrate the IRC channel into Slack?
