Maybe it is time to look into the rule of not being allowed to draft a nc in
this istink draft. It sounds to me like this istink draft was kinda thrown
together to help out the lower teams a while ago and there has been some
confusion on all sides this year of how it works. I think this idea is great
but it just seems to me that the point of this draft is to try and equalize the
league and help build up a better team that is struggling. If a player is in
this draft I think he should have every opportunity to try and rebuild his team
to the best of his ability and if that means drafting a nc with 10ip or a nc
with 0 innings it should be acceptable.
my feeling is that this nc rule should not be in affect for this draft. I also
see that Robert is being made to look like a bad guy because he is trying to
stand up to the rules. I remember the thing I asked for the most last year was
that we all try to follow the rules closer which is what seems to be happening
here. I think the real confusion is what is the defination of a nc? I thought
it was anyone without an ab or ip but it seems I am wrong? I see both sides of
this nc inquiry and I think both sides are correct. I hope this is resolved and
we do not lose anyone. It has been a tough past year for this league and I
would hate to see anyone leave.
