Quite understandable. ;-)

It is probably true that the perpetrators' religion is rarely mentioned,
presumably to avoid offense to other innocent people of the same religion.

But in such crimes, the religion of the victim is specifically the reason
that person was targeted, so is not the religion of the perpetrators also
relevant? Is there sufficient reason to hide this relevant fact?
