Actually, the real reason for the protests against the use of the DIME
weapon is in the bit I quoted above. You see, it kills the bad guys carrying
the RPGs and avoids "collateral damage" which of course means Palestinian
civilians.

Reducing Palestinian civilian deaths is a detriment to the Palestinian
propaganda efforts to which large civilian death tolls is a great benefit.
Anything that cuts down the death toll has direct and tangible negative
consequences for the Palestinian authorities which depend almost entirely on
foreign aid for their livelihood. It hits them in the pocketbook if only
Hamas fighters are killed and not civilians.

More accurate weapons means that the bad guys have to stand even closer to
their human shields, and they may even be forced to fire their RPGs from
between the legs of the women and children they use as shields.

Damn those accurate Israeli weapons!

It is good to know that the Palestinians are out there in force protesting,
but someone needs to tell some of the less enlightened ones out there about
the difference between the Palestinian and Mexican flags:

Maybe they thought no one could tell the difference.
