Subject: napalm ... or something

A major newspaper in Japan reported this morning that the total deaths of
inhabitants in Gaza reached 1,000 since the campaign started. The last
report of the death counts on Israel side was, I believe, less than 10. In
other words, the ratio of deatch counts is 100:1 in this campaign. Yet the
war is continuing.

The same paper also reported that Hamas was originally a humanitarian group
helping war-woundeds, which became a militant group. It all cited Israel's
use of white phosphorous.

A Wikipedia article, on the other hand, says:
Hamas was created in 1987 by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi and
Mohammad Taha of the Palestinian wing of the Muslim Brotherhood at the
beginning of the First Intifada. Notorious[neutrality disputed] for its
suicide attacks and other attacks[2] on Israeli civilians and security
forces, Hamas also runs extensive social programs[3] and has gained
popularity in Palestinian society by establishing hospitals, education
systems, libraries and other services[4] throughout the West Bank and Gaza
Strip.[3] Hamas' charter calls for the recapturing of the State of Israel
and replacing it with a Palestinian Islamic state in the area that is now
internationally known as Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.[5] Hamas
describes its conflict with Israel as political and not religious[6] or
antisemitic.[7] However, its founding charter, writings, and many of its
public statements[8] reflect the influence of antisemitic conspiracy
theories.[9]

The author of the above Wiki article seems to believe that Hamas' motive is
primarily regaining their land taken by Jews. Based on that theory, it seems
that the war between them may never cease until all the opposing human
resources are exhausted, or the land is given back to the original owner. It
was a fool, whoever it was, who made a decision to give the land to Jews
maybe falsely believing that Palestinians who live there are Untermensch and
do not deserve any right of land ownership. Israel may last forever, after
all, but people will remember that it was achieved by force using white
phosphorus and others, regardless of religion they believe in or atheism
they believe in. Who can blame Iran or North Korea for trying to develop
nuclear armaments? Those are now relatively poor people's bludgeons.
