I read John M.'s "not true" as referring to your assertion about "all modern
wars". He didn't say anything to dispute that the horrors of Tokyo, Nagasaki,
and Hiroshima happened.
But as you say killing civilians is perfectly acceptable, you are just debating
a point you have already accepted. Strange man.
