Hi John G., Hi Irfan,

John,
My ears are burning at your intemperate language,
but I realize that's your way of blowing off steam.
I don't know what "piss-take" means (probably British slang),
but it's a clever word choice when talking about the
urination hadiths.
Your remarks remind me that I have never thought
Deep Thoughts about how to use "carbon copy" (Cc:)
and "blind carbon copy" (Bcc:) when corresponding in e-mail.
My rule of thumb is to use "Cc:" when all the participants
know each other, and "Bcc:" otherwise. Also, if the
e-mail is meant to be confidential, neither type of copies
should be sent. In this case, Irfan and I are conducting
a public dialog about public information, wider exposure
of which can only benefit our ummah (assuming I am a
Muslim, upon which Irfan has cast doubt).
You will notice that both Irfan and I have been polite
and frank, which is all to the good.

Irfan,
You say, "I told him I knew his intention was not
to search for the truth and learn what Islam is all about."
I am sometimes inattentive, but I do not remember
your saying this to me.
On the contrary, I do want to learn what Islam is
all about, in particular by focusing on a few "hard"
hadiths, of the kind that would cause people, upon
first hearing them, to say, "Huh?"
I do not want to simply dismiss Islam as a set of
silly doctrines believed by silly people, but to take
it seriously, with the idea that there might be good
justification for what at first seems merely idiosyncratic
and crazy.
So, Irfan, I am glad that John G. has not scared you
away and that you are as willing to continue as I am.
I look forward to your tackling the six points I brought
up last time. But feel free to postpone any reply
if you get busy on other things. I am grateful for
your participation, and do not want to impose excessively
on your time.

Sincerely,
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY)

That simply shows the kind of person he is and what he represents and
stands for. I told him I knew his intention was not to search for the
truth and learn what Islam is all about.

After all, this is exactly how warriors on each side use faith!!!

I am not aware of him posting emails on any group and I am not
interested in knowing...I hope he honestly posts our on going discussion
and will not run away!

Irfan

Please do bring it to a close Mark.

And have you informed Irfan that you're disclosing your inept
piss-take of his religion to a broad public on googlegroups?

Does Irfan know that you have been exposed as a rabid bigot and
Islamophobe time and time again?
