I would love to be able to type things like \n into the "find" part of find
and replace and get expected results...
find: \n
replace: \n\n
with the regex box ticked should allow me to change a single new line entity
to two new lines.

When recording a Macro to change the case etc it will give completely unexpected
results on another bit of selected text.

Jens, newline is really needed here. To satisfy standarts each line should be
less than 100 characters.
Mentioned names is just an example.
Maybe there is some "exclude" or "ignore" can be used in User rules?

right click 'Fold here' or something similiar instead of requiring { } to be

I'm used to show more than 5 lines in this popup, but I must reesize it each

It seems there is no such option in Notepad++. It can be implemented inside
a plugin, for example, - you need to intercept VK_DOWN, VK_UP, VK_NEXT (Page
Down) and VK_PRIOR (Page Up) and place a cursor at the position you want.
