When you run the installer it provides an option to not use %APPDATA% so all
your configuration files are located in the install folder.

Renaming the plugins folder didn't resolve the issue for me. Are there any
other thoughts on why this is occurring? And how to resolve the issue without
uninstalling and reinstalling?
Thank you,
Grog

I can't seem to find an option anywhere to get rid of the Windows Explorer
context
menu icon that the new version of NP++ adds. Anyone know how to do this?

Answering my own question... looks like you just have to uninstall and reinstall
without that option.

I've got two Pc with winXp sp2.
With notepad++3.9 installed in both, the search Next/Prev with the keys
Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down only works on one computer.
Both has the default options, clean installs doesn't fix it in the pc that
doesn't
recognize the combo. Also a clean install doesn't break the other notepad++
that works ok.
Now i've installed 4.0 in the computer that recognized this combo-key, and now
this search doesn't work anymore...
What's the problem?
PD:Sorry, i know my english is poor

Of course I can subtract but I would rather not have to :)
I thought I was onto something with vertical selection: I selected only the
first character of several lines but the status bar still counts all characters
in the lines :( This seems like a small bug; unless I misunderstand what the
Sel: value is supposed to display.

should this shortcut be changed to "Alt+/".
As ctrl+space will invoke language input such as Chinese in non-English
environment.

1. Wish to add "Alt+Space" to invoke system menu(at the left above corner).
2. Wish to have more shortcut control in small dialogs like Find/Replace etc,
just like that in UltraEdit. such as 'Find n(&n)ext', 'C(&c)ount' ...
3. Hope to fix unnormally exit problem if Notepad++ has opened a file and
suddenly
the network unavailable.
Thanks for the great thin notepad++.

Nun, Startpunkt 1 f?r deine Suche w?re die Dokumentation zu Notepad++
gewesen.
Da findet man dann diese Seite hier:
http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/run-HOWTO.php?lang=de
Vermutlich wird dir also etwas wie
javac "${FULL_CURRENT_PATH}"
oder alternativ
javac "${FILE_NAME}"
weiterhelfen.
F?r einen Programmierer sollte es doch nicht SO schwer sein, mal 'ne Doku zu
lesen, oder? :-)

I am really keen on trying out the new 4.0 because of the enhanced Explorer,
something I have been waiting for for a long time. However, at work especially
I am using Windows 2000 (and this machine with its 600 MHz - not GHz, mind you
- is siply too weak to run XP, so switching is not an option), so I am concerned
by the mentioning of W2k bugs.
Are they fixed, or is it recommended for W2k users to remain using Notepadd++
3.9?
