There is no Linux Version, like the diskussion here

likes also an OS version.
But wine version 0.9.33, starts np++ without problems so far.

Check out the file shortcuts.xml, either in "C:\Documents and
Settings\(username)\Application Data\Notepad++", or in the Notepad++ program
folder (usually "C:\Program Files\Notepad++").
In the section <UserDefinedCommands>, you can change the order of the menu
items,
the shortcut keys, or you can even remove the 'open in IE' option...
AFAIK, you will have to do this 'manually', though. Nice thing is, it can be
done with Npp, though if you do that, you *will* have to restart Npp. :-)

Hello,
with Alt + Shift / Alt + Left Mouse, I am able to select columns. How can I
select (e.g. in a .txt file with 150.000 lines) whole columns to cut them off?
Or how can I jump to the last line in selection mode?

I have the same problem.
After several search in files, My Memory Usage jumped up to 300+Meg.
I only have 4 small files open within NotePad++.
Other than that, NotePad++ is a great editor!

This feature is possible, but anyone has to develop it. A small plugin is IMO
a good solution to realize it. But we, Don and I, have no time to create this
plugin.

I try to fix it with version 0.9. v0.8 is still finished and comes with official

this shouldn't be a problem - just check if the file is really a folder, and
is so - add contents (bypassing the folders within)

When I search for a text string then dismiss the Find dialog, I need to click
inside the document to activate the cursor. This is kind of annoying. What
else would I want to do once I found something in my source but manipulate it
in some way? If there's a setting I'm not seeing, let me know. Otherwise,
this is something I would like to see in the next version.
