It seems that you use always v3.8.
Update your Notepad++ to v4.1.1 if you don't want such crash issue happens again
in the future.

I'm aware of this crash issue.
But I have no idea how to fixed it since VISTA has the different behaviours
regarding some w32 functions.
If anyone in here has the solution, you're very welcome.

Just a note about the behaviour of v4.1.1 installer :
In order to provide a new set of binaries which are coherent and
stable, the installer of v4.1.1 removes both HexEditor and Explorer (due to
their unstable stat) plugins from the old Notepad++ installation before
installing
the version v4.1.1. For those who doesn't care (or even no bug for them), they
can download it in Npp plugins page.

I have HexEditor v0.8.2 installed.
I also noticed it's hard to drag a tab when it is positioned on the end of the
visible part of the tab bar. It is not (necessarily) the last tab, as I want
to drag it and scrol the tab bar to the left multiple times. I have scrolled
the tab bar to left, so far that the tab I want to drag is the last one visible.
When I want to "pick that up" it is automatically moved to be the last
tab again...
I think there is something to say for a Windows List/Dialog in which you can
simply rearrange tabs by selecting them and dragging them up and down or getting
the desired situation using up/back and down/forth buttons.

NPP implements an arrow based scrolling when a user has too many tabs/files
open that exceed the width of the window.
I would like implemented a multi line tab capability so to be able to see all
the tabs.
An option to select between the two modes is fine with me.
Thanks,

I noticed that if leave the explorer or favorite docking column open when I
stutdown NPP, it crashes.
I experienced this problem before but it went away with NPP4.1.0 and Explorer
plugin 1.3.
Now it's back in the new version.

It would be nice to expose a small search box in the icon bar for quick
searching
of words... obviously there would not be any option available... may be use
the default ones or the last one used in the reals search dialog box.

Hi Don,
Thanks for your great work! I have been enjoying your NPP for quite a long time.
and it's very pleased to see it keeps moving ahead.
I'm using it almost EVERYDAY and editing various text files. Usually I got more
than 10 files opened and worked on them from one to another.
It would be great if NPP supports multi-line tabs so that people like me don't
need to click that little "<", ">" buttons in order to see one file that's
invisible
from the tab list.
I figured out a quicker way by using Windows List (alt+w, w). but it seems I
cannot drag one opened file and move its position, in such way to change its
position in tab list. I see Windows List will sort tabs based on current file
list, it could be more convenient if we can adjust individual file by using
something like "Move Up", "Move Down" buttons.
Anyways, I thank you very much for this great product!
Junjiang

Since Notepad++ is based in Scintill and it's GTK+ Version, Why not develop
Notepad++ for Linux?I like notepad++,but I have change my OS from win to Ubuntu
Linux,so I think maybe u can use GTK+ or WX instead of the win32 api.I think
that is not as difficut as supposed!Last, thank all people's efforts in
Notepad++!

If someone search a plugin to make, it'll be great to have an UML plugin.
