Hi,
Is any way to mark changed lines during a session (like Multi-Edit i.e) ?
If not, should be a good suggestion for future release (I think).

Mark

Search results especially if looking in multiple files covers most of document.
It would be nice to have away of dock result window on the bottom, just like
VC++ does.

Utilizando "Function List" con archivo de SQL SERVER, no lo agrega cuando se
utiliza el comando ALTER PROCEDURE, siempre lo agrega con CREATE PROCEDURE.

Is there any place that users can give suggestions or ideas on the road
of development of Notepad++ ?

For example:

- Programming Language specified toolbars can be added when a user switches
between Languages(when user select html, a toolbar can be added with icons to
add some basic codes like table, form, image, etc. just like in Editplus)

- A text compare plugin can be good like WinDiff or CompareIt

Notepad++ is a very good tool and can be better with the power of open source
i think.

Depending on how motivated you are, you can edit saved macros in the file
%AppData%\Notepad++\shortcuts.xml. There's no easy user interface, of course,
so you'd have to consult the source code for any details about codes and
meanings.

Regards.
Greg

Is it possible to have to different instances of notepad++ open at the same
time? The multiview kicks ass, but I really want to have separate instances
running on my separate monitors.

hello

notepad++ is great I use it all the time and It will be nice to have a plugin
to view the variables in the page (or in all files ;-) )

I hope someone will implement this.

Hi,

If you install the ConvertExt plug-in, you'll find that it has options for
adding
two menu items to the view menu: a 'Current Line Highlighting' menu item and
a 'Line numbers' menu item.

If you check the first one, Np++'s View menu will have a new menu item called
"Current Line Highlighting". You can select it to turn the highlighting of
the current line on or off.

I get the impression that the restriction that only the background color can
be set is due to Scintilla.

Hi
I had a similar problem that I solved by editing the config.xml Guiconfig
AppPosition.

I sometimes use windows extended desktop over two screens and this time the
window was last on the other screen. So when I then ran on a single sceen the
window was to far to the left. I resetted the position in the file.

There should be some button in the setting that could reset the position incase
it was wrong or out of vision. Or is there a way for the application to check
of wide the current desktop is?

Kind regards
Michael Bj?rck
