I'd like to see the feature from Crimson Editor that when you highlight anything
and hit F3 it does an automatic search for the next instance in that file.
Its one of the many reasons I cannot stop using Crimson Editor. I keep going
back and forth between CE and NP++. If NP++ adds some more features like CE
then I could could finally put it away after using it for 7 years.

there is an option for that, Format > Encode in UTF8 if i got u right, so you
can save documents in Russian and they will be opened properly using windows
notepad & visa versa

Hi, im hoping that someone can help me with this.
All of my vbscript is underlined with what looks like a T with most of the |
cut off the bottom.
Also, im trying to get code folding to include subs and when i try to create
my own user definition, i cant get the "end sub" to work as a folder close
keyword.
anyone know how to create folder close keywords that have a space in them?

When opening a file from the command line while notepad++ is already running,
notepad++ tries to open the file relative to the old current directory.
Repro:
2 directories
>From commandline,
mkdir \dir1
cd \dir1
notepad++ file1.txt
mkdir \dir2
cd \dir2
notepad++ file2.txt
Save file2. File2.txt appears in \dir1 instead of \dir2

I think going to the beginning of text is more desired for most user.
and if you want to go to column 1,just press HOME twice.
however ,a configure for this is better.

1.open a file from file->open menu ,or open button on toolbar,find a file in
c:\ and open it
2.try to open another file from open menu,the open dialog will remember to c:\
this is good.
but if:
1.open a file c:\text.txt from windows explorer context menu
2.try to open another file from open menu
this time,the open dialog will NOT remember c:\ as the last position.otherwise
,it remember the file the open dialog open last time ,or NPP_DIRECTORY.

collapse to a certain level: on menu view->collapse level->1.....
or shortcut alt + 1........
but only work for lest than 8 levels

I've downloaded Doc Updater plugin which works very well, but the document I'm
viewing changes live as new entries are added to the end.
Is there any way to make Notepad++ auto show the end of the document ?? Auto
