I wonder if there is some way don can enable unlimited groups to be added. That
would be a really handy feature for some (not me, I've never needed that many,
but others may).

Like an "Add Group" Button :).

I just looked at the above list, and noticed about half the posts start with
"Feature Request:".

Maybe it would be less confusing if these were put in a seperate forum? Just
a suggestion to help improve. :)

(Off Topic) It would be cool if NPP looked better :). I'm not that worried
though.

I was using programmers' notepad which uses ctags for showing the functions
and macros in c++ files. and much more advanced than the npp func list.

The search in files is also a lot more faster in prog notepad than the npp.

Hi,

I was looking for this sort of functionality but couldn't find it, so maybe
one of you could help me out.
I was wondering if it's possible to open a tab-delimited (or for that case,
and character-delimited) file as a table in Notepad++ (or maybe convert it to
an HTML table). I do some linux scripting and I want to view my output in a
nice table and not with random tab placement.
A similar functionality exists in applications like Excel and the OpenOffice
suite.

Thanks,
Moriarty

Hi all,

has anyone written a configuration for assembler syntax highlighting?

IMHO best would be a script that would translate from syntax files for vi or
emacs to notepad++

Example: a syntax file for 8051 can be found at
http://www.thouters.be/Vim8051Syn
