When my laptop is home on the docking station, I usually put Notepad++ on my
secondary monitor. It works fine there.

However, when I leave the office, I can no longer get Notepad++ to launch.
In order to get it to work, I have to remember to launch it before I leave and
move it to my main monitor.

Is this a known problem? Can anyone else reproduce it?

Thanks.

Hi,

Is it possible to add a feature to save the modified files when Notepad++ does
NOT have the focus any more?

CodeWright has such feature and that can be very convenient. You can switch
it on or off in CodeWright, though....

Best rgds,

--Geert

Not exactly. It wouldn't even load today with just one monitor. Meaning that
it wouldnt even show up in the taskbar to move. As soon as I got home, and
hooked up my second monitor, it worked fine. In the past, I have had it show
up in the taskbar, but was unable to right click and move it to the visible
area, as I couldn't select the notepad++ window.

When I press Ctrl+G in Notepad++ v4.1.2 the maximum entry is 999999 for the
line number.
But my (xml) file has more line numbers ... and my xml error is on line
1433256.

So I would request for an 8 digit entry field (99999999) in stead of the current
6 digit entry field.

Thanks,
Rene

Hi,

I had the same problem.
Deleting the file 'Program' is not neccessary.
I just renamed it to 'oldProgram'
that's sufficient.

I'm using WinXP English.

Yes using SpellChecker.ini to find ASPELL could be a good solution in order
to use this plug-in with the portable version of NPP.

Yan.

I recently upgraded to Notepad++ v.4.1.2 and noticed that one of my favorite
shortcuts, the ALT+Arrow searching is gone! Why was it removed and how can I
get it back?
