Hi again,
I'm trying to use my plugin on another comp than mine (I'm trying win2k) and
it appear that I have some work to make it work anywhere : the C# plugin don't
like to be installed anywhere, I have a problem with creating directories, I
have a problem with paths containing space char.
I hope to find a solution for everything...

Ctrl+M? I was looking for that one too. But it does not always work. Here's
an example. Let's denote newline by "\n" (without the quotes). Now try replacing
"\n'" by "\nWHEN(" - it won't work.
I humbly suggest to introduce "\n" and "\t" into both n++ and TextFX
search&replace
functions (even though the regexp parser might become a real nightmare).

Ctrl - Shift - Space will do it.

It has been several days since I posted my note describing how
this delete feature can give an entirely undesirable result. I
see no additional comments on it, which I interpret as tacit
agreement that "That's the way it is.....it just ain't perfect".
Do I interpret that silence correctly, I wonder!

A good solution will be to port it to plain c/c++ ;)
Best Regards

Sure, I'm waiting for your contribution !
More seriously, programming is my job and my pleasure. And C# is the language
I know the best today. Programming that plugin in C# if for me a challenge
(communication between C# and unmanaged C++ isn't so trivial), and a training.
... and I don't know/like C++
Anyway, I already found a solution to most of my actual problems. I'll post
an update this evening.

If you look in notepad++ install directory you will find scilexer.dll there.
It cannot work without. If you want to install from source both directories
need compilation. Of course it is fine to use the dll which is in the binary
install if you wish only to make changes to the PowerEditor directory.

If you can do it make standalone - without the .NET Framework - maybe I would
like to use your plugin. But I don't like to install .NET, Java runtime or
Phyton
to display/use plugins in Notepad++.
Is there no way to port from C# to C++?
Best Regards
Jens

A nice feature to have would be the ability to collapse here documents in PERL.
