There is no possibility at the moment. But you can do it in a different way.
Download latest Explorer plugin from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-plugins/
There is an own dialog for Favorites implemented. You can add here Folders,
Files, WebLinks and Sessions. Just double click to open one session or to open
a file from it.
Best Regards
Jens

What should I do to make this little wish (just a change of name -- that won't
take the developers more than 10 seconds!) to come true??

It is faster now Jens but it still takes 10 seconds sometimes. Maybe in the
next release or whenever you have time you could make this autoupdate a
configurable
feature in the Explorer options (ie. turn it on or off).

Is it possible to make notepad++ accept ultraedit language files. Or can we
write a plugin that does the conversion and put it in the right directory??
I will try and see any suggestions.

uhmm... do it yourself? Since it hardly would take any time that can't be a
problem, right?

by add it manually, just follow the next steps: at the View menu choose /User
Define Dialog option, there you can set your own syntax highlight for your own
lanugage, it's a nice option, I just set my syntax for Spice

Depending on how you work, there might be another approach.
Please note my patch #1777502, allowing N++ to load the file session.xml from
the current working directory first. Only if there is no such file, it will
load the global session.xml. You have set "Remember the current session for
next launch" in Preferences/MISC though.
With this patch you can save different session files (via menu File/Save
session)
to the main directories of your projects once.
After that you start N++ from a command prompt in this project directory and
it will reload whatever this session was. OR create shortcuts to Notepad++.exe
with different work directories in their properties.
In both cases N++ will remember the list of opened files seperately for each
project.

When I installed Notepad++ it offered an option to load it to a USB drive where
it would work without using the registry. What a great idea I thought. I have
installed it but need to know how best to launch it. I can browse to its
installation
folder and tap it but this is awkward. I thought I would just build a short
cut at the root and launch it that way but shortcuts seem to insist on drive
letters. This can change when I plug it into a different unit of course so it
is less desirable. Notepad++ requires all of its environment so I can't just
move the executable unless there is a way to fix it environment needs. Has
anyone
done this before and how did they solve the launching problem? A small launcher
would be cool. I tried a batch file but the shell is left alive on the screen
which is ugly.
What would really be nice for notepad++ would be to install it in the U3
environment
but I don't know how to do that for an application that is not specifically
intended for this. My USB drive is a U3 drive so this would be an ideal
solution.

Notepad++ does not support regular expressions with custom quantifiers in
braces,
e.g [a-zA-Z]{2,5} or A{6}, just the quantifiers * and +.

Hello
I have a text file like:
"col1 row1" "col2 row1" "col3 row1"
"col1 row2" "col2 row2" "col3 row2"
...
"col1 row30000" "col2 row30000" "col3 row30000"
I'd like to change middle column, so I try to mark it with:
Alt-Shift-Arrow keys
or
Alt + Left mouse click
combination. But it works very slowly with such many amount of rows.
I've tried Alt-Shift-Ctrl-End, but this combination doesn't work.
Has anybody another idea?
Thanks for help.
