Move cursor to the top of the file.
Press CTRL+R to open Replace Dialog.
Press CTRL+M in the Find field.
Press , in the Replace field.
Uncheck the Selection checkbox.
Uncheck any other unwanted option.
Press the Find button.
Press Replace Rest button.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I am using the Portableapps.com version
(4.2.2) and the icons only work if I open the exe file directly. If I use the
portable exe launcher then I only get the standard icons. I tried putting the
modified xml and Icons folder in the root folder where the launcher is located
and in the folder where the actual N+++ exe if located (Not at the same time)
but it did not make a difference.
Is anyone else having this isssue?

Settings > Style Configurator > Global Styles -> Brace Highlight Style.
For some reason, the italics have returned to normnal. I have no idea what
triggered it.

Coder775,
I'm new to NPP and it give a lot more than what I've been using but I've been
lost in how to convert simple text to a URL within NPP. I had already gone
through
your suggestions and had the selection "enabled" so already established links
I import stay as links, but that doesn't do anything for how to convert plain
text to a URL.
Any suggestions on that?

Nobody,
I'm assuming when you are saying:
"Try replacing CTRL+M by CTRL+M and a comma."
That you mean place your cursor in the "Find What:" field and then hold the
control key and press the "M". I'm sorry to be so verbose, but I'm using
Notepad++
v4.4 and every time I try this windows dings at me instead of placing a special
character in the field.
(I've tried both left and right control keys.)
