Lol.... It is a race!!! :)
Just announcing that I've done a few transfers from the website with only minor
corrections. I've not really paid much attention to the actual content so there
could be errors and corrections to do. In fact I almost guarantee it! :-)

Maybe I don't understand something, but isn't working with sessions a bit
inconvenient? When I was saving a session I had to choose .session file type
in save dialog (it was *.*). And then I typed the name of the session, like
"My project", and the file was saved without extension. I had to add it
manually.
But after that I found that .session file isn't associated with npp and that
it opens for editing like an ordinary file. Seems like the only option is to
use Load Session command. Well it would be nice if it worked like IDE project
files, I think.
But this is really a minor annoyance. Thanks for the great editor!

I still got this error after I had installed the Platform SDK, follow the setup
as in MSDN website and build the scintilla.dll.

Well, in extreme cases some threads may report running because I waited for
an event set at the end of the thread, instead of waiting for the thread itself.
That didnt happen though, but I did find that the plugin reported running
threads
when there were none. I just fixed that so everything should be ok. (Silly
mistake,
I did WaitForMultipleObjects on an empty array, resulting in an error.)

Its a nonprintable character, 0x1A in hexadecimal. I simply means somewhere
the wrong character got inserted. In my Notepad, pressing CTRL+E does such a
thing. Just remove the character and put the O back in ;)

The problem here is that I am using ETL tool IBM Websphere datastage to convert
the character to E in english and it was not recognizing it. Whats the ASCII
equivalent for this?

Nothing wrong with a good standard.... if it is good. From what I have read
there are quite a few problems with this one.
Surely if there is other standards out there already that cover the same ground
why need a new one? Why doesn't Microsoft and co just engage in the current
standards instead of trying to invent an un-needed one?
If you are going to make a standard surely it should...
A) Work.
B) Be needed.
