I miss the book mark like the c++ builder 6, like CTRL+SHIFT+nr to mark and

I have a stupid question... What retail products currently on the market (with
retail support) compare to Notepad++? I really like all of the features of
Notepad++, but my company will not let us install it because it is open source
(freeware) and does not have retail support. So, instead of getting a free
source editor, they want to purchase licenses for everyone in my group. Sounds
silly, but I guess a lot off businesses do things this way. Does anybody have
any suggestions?

Well having had a look at the source I can see my plan won't work because it
is not possible to have a command that is not initially mapped in the
accelerator
table and it seems it also needs to be included in a menu. I guess I could
create
a dummy menu but that seems hokey at best.
So I guess it's an entry in the MISC options tab :(
There seems to be a lot of these 'why isn't notepad++ like my editor of choice'
posts. Maybe it would be worth (as a longer-term goal) having a 'compatibility'
setting which would hide a load of really (too) detailed options under one
simple
heading.

These are the results running on my Windows XP Professional SP2 machine
at work:
1.0 doSaveDlg
3.2 Problem : uMsg == 48
2.0 WM_INITDIALOG
2.1 after goToCenter(hFileDlg);
2.3 after oldProc = (WNDPROC)::SetWindowLong(hFileDlg, GWL_WNDPROC,
(LONG)fileDlgProc);
2.4 oldProc == 2118378815
1.1 After ::GetSaveFileName(&_ofn)?_fileName:NULL;
It had no problem starting up, automatically opening a session, creating a new
file, then saving it (as, naturally).

Branch notepad++, rebadge it then form your own company and sell AwesomePad(c)
to your employers with an associated 'support contract'.
Kidding. Textpad or Multipad cost money and do roughly the same job as
Notepad++.

I have Notepad++ 4.5 on Windows XP SP2 installed on 3 computers and after some
minutes using notepad++, the program gets slow of response, and growing his
memory and CPU usage (about 500MB and +90% cpu).
The only solution is to kill the process.
I found this bad behavior since some versions ago (I don't remember exactly,
but I can affirm that this occurs on since 4.0 ).

Either I'm missing something, or macros are broken.
E.g.
Position cursor at L2 C7
Start record macro
delete one char
insert one char
go down one line back on space to L3 C7
stop record macro
press play macro
replaces char as expected but finishes at L4 C6, so if I want to play macro
again it's one column behind which gets incrementally worse the more times the
macro is played.
