"It's a sign of sloppy programming to have misspellings"

Then time to change the product name since "Notepad++" is not spelt correctly.
Don, please change all instances of "Notepad++" to "Notepad-Plus-Plus" while
you fix this "OK" issue.

Thanks,
Bob

Hey all,

The O accelerator key is bound under the File menu to both _Open and to Cl_ose
all. Because of this, the normal Alt-F/O combination to open a file doesn't
work. (It only selects Open, not actually executes Open.)

Try inserting one char first, then going back one position and deleting the
previous character. Play a little with the order. You may find a way to do it.

Well, it does in a way _accelerate_ your action, doesn't it? It's not an
executer
key.

Hi,

I'd like to know whether it is possible to import NoteTab's outline files (.otl)
into Notepad++. I have plenty of large documents in .otl format that prevent
me from switching to Notepad++. I suppose thousands other people would benefit
from such functionality. Any hope out there?

Cheers,

Vacilando

These are the results running on my Windows XP Home SP2 machine at home:

1.0 doSaveDlg
3.2 Problem : uMsg == 48
2.0 WM_INITDIALOG
2.1 after goToCenter(hFileDlg);
2.3 after oldProc = (WNDPROC)::SetWindowLong(hFileDlg, GWL_WNDPROC,
(LONG)fileDlgProc);
2.4 oldProc == 2117854527
1.1 After ::GetSaveFileName(&_ofn)?_fileName:NULL;

It had no problem starting up, automatically opening a session, creating a new
file, then saving it (as, naturally) either.

Open source software are not synonym of freeware.
They can be sold (with its source code, according its license), through it's
not the case for the most of open source software.

In the case of Notepad++, I prefer that you call it "free software" instead
of "freeware".
Nuance of autograph, big difference of spirit.
