Perhaps it would be even better to have a little pop-up screen to enter a name
into, when a new document is opened. This way you will be forced to think about
that first. This will also avoid confusion if multiple files have the same first
line..

What about make a plugin. Which works by defining hotkeys and cons ponding
regular
expression.
Say I'll mark a variable. and presses F1. The plugin now steps in take the name
of the variable and makes a search based on a user defined regular expression.
Preferable you can choose between how your result is listed.
Option 1 could be like the search window
Option 2 could be highlighting all results
Option 3 could be jumping to first result.

You can define you own language file for bbcode the only problem is that BBcode
aren't globally accepted standard . Put a link to the BB rules you need
highlighting
for.

Hello,
I have version 4.6 and when I add 'txt' extension in the 'Style Configurer'
to the Perl language, my txt files still do not have this language (syntax)
applied.
Anyone with any ideas? Am I doing something wrong or this is a bug?
Looks like in version 2.6 this works.
Cheers

Since installing Notepad++ 4.6 under vista I can no longer run the program
without
the vista UAC box popping up asking me to type in the admin password so that
gup.exe can run. I assume this is to do with the new update plugin? If it's
not able to run without me having to type the admin password in every time is
there an easy way to disable it until a bug fix is released?
Many thanks

There are any itens in the Notepad++ that yet don't were translated. I say about
the itens of the context right click, when clicked in the one tab. This itens
are :
- Read only
- Clear read only flag
- Full file path to clipboard
- Filename to clipboard
- Current dir path to clipboard
I like of know if this is foreseen to future?

Hi there
In C# language the { and } is automatically adding indention groups. In an
other language I work with (Clarion) there is noe character to mark and indent.
Its like this:
if (Something = somethingelse)
Do something
And something other stuff
End
How can I add support for this in mu user language config? Absolutly every
indenting groups ends with the END keyword, but it can start with other things,
like
IF, CASE, FILE, GROUP, QUEUE, etc. etc. etc
I allso noticed then the C# keyword #REGION allso adds this groups so I guess
it should be possible...
thanx for all help
Ole

Perhaps you should remove this extension for the "normal text" language?
