Hi,

I've searched the forum but could not find answer to this question: how do I
disable code folding?

Thanks a lot!

I like the code folding for VB so when I'm editing ASP I change to VB to get
the VB code folding. WHen I do so, the background colors all disappear and all
the text appears to be underlined in blue.

(a) any idea how to get the code folding for VB to work in the VB section of
an ASP file
(b) any idea why the display colors all get lost when changing languages?

thanks!

I'd call that *default* behavior in Delphi, but there's a way around it. I'll
modify your files a bit and send them to you to illustrate what I mean.

The one with the highest version number will be the newest. Any bug fixes will
still take the same number, while any new features added will be given a higher
number.
This system is obviously not the usual or correct way of doing things, so it
won't last long...

LoonyChewy

Could "Find box" of new version support unicode Character?
I found "?" and "?" is not supported.
They are used by Mail Merge in Word.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to extend notepad++ to have some sort of comparer
functionality (at least an option to show split screen) like beyond compare
(lightweight version of course).

Does this exist, or is someone looking into such a plugin?

I'm sorry but i don't have the time to start developing this unfortunately.

This is the only functionality i'm missing in notepad++, otherwise a brilliant
tool!!

Look somewhere on this forum... or simply in the Forums drop down list in the
menu bar above.

Sorry, I was mistaken, due to the separate forums for Plug-In Development in
the Notepad++ pages. There is a separate NPP-PlugIns project, which has a forum
for each plug-in. There is also a Comparer Plug-In. Here's the forum address,
use the menu bar to get somewhere else, like the download section:
