You can work aroudn this by using
"$(NPP_DIRECTORY)\..\Firefox\firefox.exe" or something similar, depending on
the directory structure of your flashdrive (this assumes the Firefox directory
is at the same level as the Notepad++ directory).

Select the lines putting the cursor at those columns. Then in the TextFX Tools
menu select sort, that should do it.

Great work, Jens! I will sometimes have 20 or more files open at a time, and
it's nice to be able to see a list of all the tabs. The new management tools
you've added are a nice bonus.

I found a minor bug. If you right-click in the Window Manager but don't choose
an option from the context menu, then from that point forward, changes in the
tabs in Notepad++ aren't reflected in the Window Manager.

For example:

Start Notepad++ (there is 1 new document)
Start Window Manager
Click the New button on the toolbar (there are now 2 new documents)
Right-click on one of the rows in Window Manager
Left-click somewhere else to close the context menu

Now if you open or close tabs in Notepad++, they don't show up in Window
Manager.

To fix it, close the plugin and open it again, and the problem goes away.

I did a search (bad one I guess) and didn't find it.

Well, thanks a lot!

There's no other way since I have no control on it.

I noticed in the Run Menu that you can open a file in firefox just by having
the text 'firefox "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)" in the shortcuts.xml file, yet my
computer
doesn't have firefox in the path. The same is not possible for say, opera, or
any programs I have installed on my flash drive.

This leads me to believe that there is some kind of path whether it is hardcoded
or is in a file. Having an editable path file would be great. Especially for
those of us who use any kind of portable applications that run off of our flash
sticks. If that's not posible, a variable for the drive letter where npp is
running from would also work.

toolbar?

:)
no, there's no way because windows system imposes all appz has the same look
and feel.

is huge

Lucky guy.
The solution is to get a high chair :)

It won't be at bottom. However, in the next release, user can make tab bar on
the right side (vertically).

Another solution is to hide the tab bar and use Window manager plugin and dock
it on the bottom.

Thank you, that worked. This will allow me to run programs exclusively off of
my flash drive, without having to worry about whether they are installed on
the computer I am using.

I cannot find japanese kanjis when I'm using the "Find" funcion. When I paste
them, they appear correct, but when I start searching, the characters change
into ? as unrecognized. I can past japanese characters in a document without
a trouble, but I'm unable to do a simple search. Is there a way to fix this?
I'm using Notepad++ 4.7.5.

Well thanks for the answer, however I don't understand why you can't make an
option for the tab bar to appear at the bottom, if you can make it to appear
even on the right side vertically which is a lot more weird then docking it
at the bottom. Anyways it is up to you to decide what you implement in the
program,
I just wanted to know if it will be avaible or not as all of my programs which
has tab bar are set to show it at the bottom, and I mean all of them except
npp :). Well thanks for the answer again and I hope you will change your mind.
