Are you sure it's Notepad++ to consume the CPU resource? If yes, remove Light Explorer then try again. I have experience of Explorer plugin hanging Notepad++ while my explorer of windows had problem. After rebooting my machine it works fine. Obviously both Explorer and Light explorer plugins depend on Windows' Explorer. Will look into it. >> %APPDATA%\Npp\plugins\ConfigMulticlipboard.ini instead of %APPDATA%\Npp\plugins\Config\Multiclipboard.ini I just tried the version from sourceforge again. It seems to be ok. Anyone else seeing the same thing? >> If I turn off 'middle-click paste' I can no longer view the buffer using the shift+middle mouse combination This is by design, '(shift)+middle-click paste' == '(shift)+Ctrl-V' >> Middle-Click Paste does not work with unicode text, although Middle-Click Select plus regular paste does Is it due to the "shift+middle mouse combination enters a blank clipboard item on the first click" bug? I can shift-middle-click and paste a unicode text from the pop-up menu. Jens have also provided some pointers on displaying unicode text in the pop-up menu, so its on my todo list. Meanwhile, I'm refactoring the code as it is IMO quite messy and makes it hard to implement new features without introducing more bugs. These issues above will be considered. Thank you all for your feedbacks! Regards, LoonyChewy. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Nothing happens. After copying to clipboard non-english symbols are just missed. on UTF-8 file with BOM: I CAN save rtf or html file, but anyway all non-english letters are just missed. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I want to branch out to Greek, but am having trouble getting "squares" for Greek letters with vowel-signs/diacritical-marks. What need I do to get the properly accented Greek vowels? Please do not tell me the answer in hard-core "Geeky" language; I am pretty green to such discussion, and do my best to maneuver with Notepad + + in doing English texts and Latin "with a minimum of the hard stuff" as my guide. --Vernon Lynn Stephens [EMAIL PROTECTED] ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I'm speculating here, but if N++ had an Open Read-Only option (does it?), would that solve the issue? I continue to speculate by proposing that for N++ to function as an editor, it has to read the open file into memory, so that it can leave the file on disk in its current state. But if it were doing a direct read from the disk via read-only, theoretically it wouldn't have to read it all into memory, thereby alleviating the issue. Anyone have any experience? Thanks! I can see it in the process manager. I often open files in Notepad++ using Total commander F4 command. I noted that Notepad always has CPU usage when I open external files in Notepad++. With Light explorer CPU usage of 30-50% after a while. With explorer plugin CPU usage of 80-100% after a while. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
