I'm having a problem storing sessions (even new ones created in v4.75, as there
was a problem loading ones created in previous versions) in the favorites. NPP
crashes when I try to store a session in a favorites group.

I haven't used it before, BUT is this feature ("hide lines") only
for multi-view?

Okay thanks, i think this could work.

One last question: How can you from a shortcut on the Desktop open a .session
file as a session (aka "Load Session") instead of opening the .session file
as a normal xml text file?

Thank you,
Thure

I have created a UniVerse Basic User Defined Language for Notepad++ if anyone
wants... it will work for any of the multivalue languages (Pick, D3, Revelation,
uniVerse, UniData), using the WONDERFUL 4.7.5 version.

I would like to set it as my default language, but there is no option to do
so. I cannot use extensions becuse none of the programs have a set "last word"
(extension) and it is a pain having to open 30 programs, and then select
Universe
Basic for each one. Most of the code I work on was written by other programmers
over 10 years ago - I cannot simply change all the names. There are roughly
2000 routines on this site.

Any chance of this being added sometime?

Is there a way to record a macro that uses the find-replace command?

Specifically, I would like a macro that replaces one line break with two line
breaks.

I can do this manually (CTRL-R, then replace CTRL-M with CTRL-M-CTRL-M), but
when I record it as a macro, it does not work upon playback.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Never mind, I have found the Simple Script plugin. Maybe this post will be
useful
to the next person who searches for "find-replace macro."

Thanks to the Notepad++ developer for a great program!

Yes, I needed to set session file extension to ".session".

Notepad++ -> Settings -> Preferences -> MISC -> Session file ext=.session

Thanks,
Thure

Still, perhaps the quickest way to make your work a little easier is renaming
all your files (using any of a lot of available tools) and setting the same
extension for your language definition.
