Perhaps handling this could be added to an explorer plug-in: setting a
preference
for the language definition to open any file with or an own list of extensions
and languages, or perhaps set a preference per directory/favorite.

I don't know if this is much work for the programmer. I've never used one of
the explorer plug-ins.

The line flows as I continue writing. I don't want to press "enter" to pass
to next line. How can I specify/change the width of the window and make it pass
to other line automatically?

Perhaps you can get a slightly better highlighting using (the template variant
of) the Gmod Lua plugin. See:

"New External Lexer Support Template/Tutorial"
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1907325&forum_id=482781

If you only are interested in getting code highlighted, not (only) editing,
look here:

"NPP Export v 0.25 remarks"
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1899496&forum_id=482781

Or, for customizable syntax highlighting and some formatting or code:

"WinHighlight"

Are you looking for the line / word wrap functionality?

Menu:___ View
Option:_ Wrap (7th from the top, 2nd in the 3rd group separated by horizontal
lines)

Button:_ the one with the like enter symbol on it, approximately on the middle
of the button bar. It's beneath the "ns" of the Plugin menu on my screen, left
of the paragraph character on the "Show all characters" button.

Hi fidvo

Two possible improvements for your great plugin:

1. Other plugins use plugin/Config/ to store their INI file
Could you change your search path to plugin/Config/SimpleScript.ini ?

2. Is it possible to generate submenus from the defined "[group]" parts
of SimpleScript.ini for a faster access to the scripts?

Nevertheless thanks for your work,
Dave

You can hide lines using various options in TextFX/TextFX Viz. I don't know
if there are any other ways.

As well as enabling Wrap mode you wanted to adjust the width. You can do that
by changing the program's window's width but you can't rely on it to be the
same next time you open the program - this is a text editor, not a word
processor.

I doubt the wrapping you see on screen would be matched by the wrapping that
will occur when you print it - I think it will wrap at the edge of the page
irrespective of what you see on screen.

If you want to permanently fix where the wrapped line ends are, you could try
the plugin TextFX/TextFX Edit/ReWrap Text, but it will cause problems if you
need to change anything.
