And for me it works fine.

Hello good people of Notepad++!
I have uploaded a Delphi plugin template/framework to the plugins page. It's
a good start for people that would like to use Delphi for coding Notepad++
plugins.
There is always room for improvements so I'll be happy to hear some suggestions.
If you have trouble figuring out how to do something, post a message here.
Best regards,
-Zobo

Hi Harry,
Thanks for your fast reply. I found a solution. I had Notepad++ v4.7.5 installed
over an old version without uninstalling it. (I'm using Windows XP SP2) So I've
uninstalled it, delete the directory "C:\Documents and
Settings\UserName\Application
Data\Notepad++" and reinstall the latest v4.7.5 including NppExport.dll from
NppExport_0_2_7_2_dll.zip into C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins. Now I can
copy some formatted code to the clipboard and paste into Wordpad and
OpenOffice.org
Writer 2.3. Great!
Another question, is it possible to copy HTML formatted code to the clipboard
and paste it into Notepad++ itself? The Notepad++ paste button it's grayed out
after copying HTML to the clipboard. This is the way I'd like to use NppExport
instead of exporting it to a HTML file first.
Thank you very much for your work! I was looking for this feature for long
time.
Regards,
Erwin

I really think the limitations of the regular expressions in notepad++ should
be made clear in the FAQ for regular expressions.
I know that it does state what it can do but it would be helpful to see a
sentence
like "currently Notepad++ only supports the greedy quantifiers * and +". And
it's practically impossible to match something over multiple line. I know it's
my own fault for spending literally hours to get reluctant quantifiers
and multiline-matches to work (and failing at that) but I just want to save
others from trying to do the same.

oh and I forgot to say that I used notepad RE (notepad Regular Expressions)
to solve my little regular expression problem. I just want to point people who
had the same problem I had to a programm that has very good regExp support (it's
no alternative to npp because it's simply notepad with taped on Regular
expression
search/replace). If you think this is too much of an advertising be free to
delete this post.

Notepad++ v4.75 2008 looks good, however, please add the ability to read .RTF
Wordpad files
along with .TXT files.
Jarte v3.1 is available that does read both .RTF and .TXT files.

Thanks, that's automatic enough for me.
Actually I was having a problem with Notepad: a properly formatted text file,
would loose it's formatting when updated and saved.
Changing the "Word Wrap" did not solve the problem.
So I downloaded Notepad++, but in there my file had extra lines, caused by extra
CR/LF, as shown by "View: Show End Of Line".
Notepad has no option for dealing with stuff like that.
But as you showed me, Notepad++ TextFX Edit Menu has it! I'm surprised by all
I see in those menus!
I liked Notepad simplicity, but it's useless to me if it destroy my formatting.
I guess from now on I'll switch from Notepad to Notepad++.

I'd like to setup N++ in such a way that pressing a key combination, e.g.
CTRL+b,
will call an executable at
c:\python 2.5.2\python.exe
and pass the current file as an argument to it. How do i do that?

I have the same problem. I prefer to use spaces for tabs when editing C/C++
files, but when I modify Makefiles this causes problems, because tabs and spaces
mean different things to a Makefile.
