Looking better LoonyChewey, thanks - the shift+middle click buffer scrolling
is exactly what I was looking for.
My middle-click paste doesn't work though, it adds an empty item to the
clipboard.
Also when I middle-click selected text it copies the text to the clipboard.
Thanks for your work.

No such luck here. I'm still having mismatched characters using a slovenian
keyboard layout in NPP 4.82, no matter the version of SciLexer.dll (went back
as far as 1.65), but *only* when format is 'UTF-8 No BOM'. Switching to plain
UTF-8 solves it! Go figure.
Some details: Windows XP Pro 5.1.2600 SP2 (English)
Keyboard layouts: italian (works fine), slovenian (see above)
Checked whole disk for other copies od SciLexer.dll, found one (1.7.0)
in TortoiseSVN, no change when substituting with 1.7.5 or 1.7.3
Plugins make no difference, except for HexEditor and MultiClipboard, who add
a really funny 'shift down one line' effect when pressing '?'...
Reinstalling older versions of NPP makes no difference
and, of course, every other editor or such I have works fine with the slovenian
keyboard - except for SCiTe (any recent version)...
In case anybody nedds it, i've just found this:
http://designfanatiker.de/bomremover.exe

Go to Settings > shortcut mapper. Click the run commands button on the top.

xokaido,
Yes, WINE does a good job with Notepad++ in Linux, but if you want a native
Linux app that is similar to Notepad++, then I have found that Geany does a
pretty good job.

This support for printing from command line would be a great feature so I can
be added to context menus and batch scripts. Is it possible?

rotflol Most people probably wouldn't understand the significance of you
allowing
NPP to modify your context menu, but I sure do. You are not alone, Michael. :)

It's great that the Notepad++ allows to edit none UTF coded files (ANSI). There
is a one missing feature: it's is not possible to defined the appropriate code
page (script) for the chosen font (Settings/Style Configurator/...)
