Hi all,
To select user-defined script in the NppExec 'Execute Window' is not that
convenient.
What you guys think if the Combo box of scripts are put in toolbar?
By the way, i didn't find place to define shortcut for NppExec's scripts. Is
it available?

Hi,
there have been several requests/bug messages concerning FunctionList Plugin
- and rarely any response from developer/development team recently. Also the
FunctionList is in alpha state since a year now - quite a long period without
update/release for an alpha version.
Therefore my question:
Is FunctionList still under development - or is there no more interest in
further
enhancements?
I've collected a few issues/bugs ....

If you go on your %ProgramFiles%\AutoHotkey\Extras\Editors\Notepad++\ you'll
find a script to install the .api and .xml files in the n++ directories. This
is working for me, if you have problem try to define the rules in the user
define
dialog

Alternative solution will be implemented in upcoming NppExec release - an
ability
to place some NppExec's scripts into the Notepad++'s Macros submenu. Then you
can assign shortcut-keys to these menu items in the Shortcut Mapper.
The basic functionality of new features is almost done already, so I think we'll
see the new version in this month :)

The leader of this project (I mean Jens Lorenz) is temporarily unreachable.
In the meantime, I even tried to modify his sources in order to fix something,
but - alack! - I have problems to compile the sources under VC++ 2005/2008
Express.
It's because Jens uses VC++ 2003 which breaks some C++ standards and these
incompatibility is significant in VC++ 2005/2008.

Another one:
Starting in Win2000, crashes on launch unless we apply the old fix of
rename of the \plugins directory. I have not yet trawled to find which
plugin (or combination) is the offending one(s).

Cursor past end of line, has been an often requested feature, over the years.
It is I think a Scintilla drawback, which instead snaps EOL.
In some tasks, this is very annoying.
There is a workaround/slight kludge.
The new Column Edit Alt-C, seems to add vertically, from Cursor, to LastLine.
( side Q: is there really no way to control the Column Editor LineCount? )
If you place Cursor at Start-Line, New end, and Alt-C [white space],
you have inserted a column of white-spaces to last-line, and that column,
is leftpadded (so now the workspace is a white sheet)
Now you can Edit as you desire, with your well-behaved XY cursor!!
If those trailing spaces are a problem, Edit.TrimTrailingSpace removes them.
Request:
Can this be added as a specific menu-feature.
(as it related to Edit.TrimTrailingSpace, perhaps under Edit tab ?)
Edit.AppendTrailingSpace would be a symmetrical name ?
Smart would be to :
Allow Selected Text to be Trailing Space appended to
a) all match Longest Line in selection (document, if no selection)
b) all to a Defined Line length
that side-steps the Scintilla drawback, and gets a white-sheet cursor
behaviour, when needed.

I don't think Save-Me-As is the one we're talking about here. 'Rename' means
changing the original file with new name, 'Save-Me-As' is just saving a new
copy with new name. Actually 'Rename' is very popular in lots of editor, like
UltraEdit, editplus.

Me too. I downgrade to 4.8.5 because I very often use this functionality.
A easy-to-repair bug I think.

I use 2 monitors in the office and one at home. I have Notepad++ on monitor
2 at the office. I move it to monitor 1 before I shutdown, I restart and
Notepad++
is on monitor 1, but if I do a find, the dialogue is on "monitor 2", which makes
it unusable. If I shut down and restart it is fine.
Be nice if the app handled this change correctly.
