Hi!

Great work with Notepad++, keep up!

I have problem with Serbian characters, and , those little lines above
the "c" character are not showing up, nor in N++ nor in the browser. I'm using
the XPs standard Serbian(Latin) layout, and UTF-8 without BOM settings in N++.
The rest of the Serbian chars are behaving normally, , and .

I figured it out;

Turn on the "extended" feature in control h, leave match whole word only off
and match case off.

Make a copy of all your HTML files into another folder. Do a search for any
file with "google-analytics" and delete them from this new folder.

Now load every html/htm file into Notepad++

Then do this one search/replace in all open documents at a time;

<script type="text/javascript"> \r\n var gaJsHost = (("https:" ==
document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl."; : "http://www.";); \r\n </body>
document.write(""+unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost
+ "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E")); \r\n
</script> \r\n </body>
<script type="text/javascript"> \r\n var pageTracker
= _gat._getTracker("UA-xxxxxxx-y"); \r\n
pageTracker._setDomainName(".mydomain.com");
\r\n </body>
pageTracker._trackPageview(); \r\n </script> \r\n </body>

So what you end up with is placing a few lines at a time in every html document.
You keep adding </body> and keep inserting in front of it..

It would be nice if find/replace all open files was multiline capable & more
than 255 characters. (control h) That would make Notepad++ one of the best
editors around.

Cool. I believe that's the way a lot of users tend to work. They post a question
on the forum and, good for them, then they'll try to figure it out themselves.

A simple search might have popped up an easier suggestion.

I searched for hours to no avail. Not just Notepad++ but grep, findstr, for
files, etc. I found some solutions but none of them were easy (for me.)

Perhaps my search abilities are lacking - if you know what I should be searching
for, I am all ears :)

Don, I'm afraid I may have lost the html file when I experienced this.
However...for
clarity's sake...I'm going to try and reproduce this error otherwise I would
say it may only be a hiccup. I do have other html text editors on my laptop
and I can't be certain I was using Notepad++ when I had this issue.

Again l I will try to reproduce it and as of right now I can't. Since
experiencing
this issue...I've changed my html file extension associations and now I'm using
a different editor. But I'll test the html raw code on Notepad++ to see if there
are any irregularities. It could be a driver issue as I've recently experienced
a hard disk crash and had to rebuild my computer from the ground up by
reinstalling
everything from scratch.

I've installed a new plug-in in Firefox (post scrolling through html code
incident)
which allows me to immediately see the source code. It's called ViewSourceWith
and I'll try it with Notepad++ to see if the issue happens again.

Every time I open NotePad++ on my Windows Vista 64 PC, there is a display issue.
As well as the 'new 1' window there are another two 'windows' open taking up
most of the screen. They appear to be showing part of an XML file (e.g.
'</ScintillaContextMenu></NotepadPlus>'). There is an 'X' to close those
anomalies,
and on closing the whole NP++ frame can be used by 'new 1'. I wish I could
display a screen shot here to show it!

Has anyone else experienced this.

I am using NP++ 5.0.3, but this issue has been happening for the past few
versions.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, cleaning directories etc, but
nothing
helps.

Thanks

Tim

Conventionally \t, \n or \r are lower case, and I think it makes more sense.

Thank you for thinking of contribution.

You can send me your design chart, if it's my taste ( :) ) then I'll take it.

Hi

I have also encountered the phenomenon by Visual C++ 2008.
It solved by Visual C++ 2005.

I don't understand a cause.

Regards

Is this feature included? I can't seem to find anything about it.

The thread is OK, I just wonder why Wikipedia's information looks more
convincing
than the application itself? I mean, it's not a problem to try to open a large
file in Notepad++ and see what will happen.
Anyway, this Wikipedia's article (or whatever it is) MUST be updated because
it contains wrong information.
