I would like to see a few options added to the User Defined languages feature.

I would like to be able to select a different colour/font styles for each
keyword
used in folder open/close. My idea is to have a default colour/font style for
the contents of each keyword too.

If this could not be done for *each* keyword, maybe set up multiple groups for
folders, similar to the Keywords List.

Another good option would be to indent contents of subordinate folders.

Macros don't record actions performed in dialogs (like search and replace)

After I totally replaced Notepad++ and associated Notepad++ with all the files,
then rebuilt the windows icons to make sure everything is correct all the files
associated with Notepad++ are iconless, anybody know why this is?

They're in the file shortcuts.xml. The location depends on how you installed
NP++. In my case, the file is at

%AppData%\Notepad++\shortcuts.xml

You might want to search these fora for details on how to edit macros.

Regards.
Greg

For some purposes, you can perform your search first, then record a macro that
includes the <F3> keystroke. Initialize or change the search parameters as
needed before playing back the macro (so <F3> finds what you want it to find).

Regards.
Greg

Hi & thanks for creating such a useful editor.

I have added some keyword extensions to one of the supported languages (C).
Is there any way to enhance the default syntax folding to apply to these? I
could not find any 'folding rules' configuration file.

If there isn't, consider this a feature request :-)

Demetres
